Holbrook Manor has a charming atmosphere. The Garden Double Room in the Annex Building felt cozy. I loved the picturesque setting and the well-maintained grounds. The spa facilities were nice, especially the warm swimming pool. The reception staff were friendly and accommodating, even making us coffee when the cafe was closed. we faced some issues upon arrival. Our room wasn't ready, and the room we ended up with was quite cold. We requested an extra heater, but it was not effective. The towel rail was also only lukewarm. Dinner service at the garden cafe was slow, and the food we received was disappointing. The pasta was undercooked and dry, which was a letdown. Although they let us off the food bill, the kitchen refurbishment impacted our stay. I look forward to returning when everything is fully operational.

As a family of four, we enjoyed our stay at Holbrook Manor. The spacious bathroom and inviting grounds provided a lovely setting for our children to explore. Although the heating in our room was a bit challenging, overall, it was a pleasant experience we’d recommend.

The room was spacious with a powerful hot shower, and the pool was a fantastic bonus. We loved the yoga classes and spa facilities.

Room was extremely comfortable and spacious, the kids loved it! The patio doors leading to the garden made it feel like home and we could relax outside while they played. Oh, and the staff? They were super helpful, especially Sue. she even showed extra attention to our furry friend!

I had a fantastic one-night stay in a Super Deluxe Double Room. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated, and I particularly enjoyed the lovely spa facilities and warm swimming pool after a long day. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, especially Quentin, who provided helpful insights about the hotel’s history. The only downside was the dining options could offer a bit more variety.

Staff were friendly and accommodating. The shower had drainage issues. The pool and spa facilities were a nice touch. Very spacious room with a comfy king-size bed.

It was just a perfect match for an overnight stopping in Wincanton with fantastic value for money. Had a lovely time at the well-kept garden which added a nice ambiance to our stay. Bring some earplugs just in case of noise from neighboring rooms.

The pool provided a nice escape after a long day, with a pleasantly warm temperature that made it inviting. The well-maintained grounds looked great, promising an even better experience in the warmer months.

The reception feels oddly located within the health club area, which struck me as unusual upon arrival. Hot water took a while to kick in, requiring quite a bit of patience, and the rooms showed signs of wear with corroded taps and a rather cold bathroom, despite an electric radiator being provided. Although clean, the carpets were marked, giving the place a somewhat tired vibe that made it less appealing for a comfortable stay.

We were moved from our dog-friendly room to the main building. Staff was super helpful! The superior room was nice, with a comfy sitting area and big bathroom. Super clean too! Didn’t get to swim since the pool was down, but we did enjoy hanging out at the picnic area. The only issue was the room was a bit small at first.
